• There are 83 new community cases to report on Sunday – 82 in Auckland, one in Wellington.
• There are 34 people in hospital – two are in ICU.
• That brings the total number of cases in the Delta cluster to 511 – 496 of these are in Auckland, 15 are in Wellington.
• An apartment block and uni class are among the new locations of interest. There are now almost 500 potential exposure sites.
• PM says rules around essential workplaces are being reviewed: “If we need to tighten up our restrictions further, we will.”
• Genome sequencing is being performed to determine if the Auckland MIQ worker who tested positive is linked to the Delta cluster.
