国家党透露为求职者受益人的红绿灯系统

【澳纽网编译】国家党宣布推出一个可能会导致“有能力工作”的人在求职者福利金上减少或暂停的制度。

国家党社会发展和就业发言人路易丝·厄普斯顿(Louise Upston)表示,该党将引入一个“交通灯制度”来帮助更多的Jobseeker Support福利金受益人就业。

这将使“领取JobSeeker福利金的失业人士明确了解他们的义务以及如果他们拒绝尽自己的一份力量将面临什么后果”。

厄普斯顿表示,交通灯制度是当前适用的制度的延伸。

“我们希望制裁不是财务制裁。我们认为,如果人们没有履行寻找工作、采取非常明智、切实可行的步骤来寻找工作的协议,他们将面临后果。这是一种非财务制裁。”

厄普斯顿无法给出一个具体的目标数字。

她表示,为Jobseeker福利金受益人提供工作的组织分享的“最大的挫折之一是人们不…可靠地去做工作…而且没有后果”。

“国家党希望看到更多的新西兰人脱离福利,就业。”
