Uber driver arrested for showing adult videos to three teenage passengers
“Enter at your own risk” seems to be the appropriate slogan that can be attributed to Uber cars as many drivers have been arrested for crimes against passengers.
Police in Florida arrested Uber driver Michael Paz Debesa, who is a father of two children, on three counts of showing obscene material to minors.
According to Tampa police, before Debesa, 43, drove the three teenage passengers to their destination, he pulled into the parking lot at a Publix supermarket and showed a 20-second adult video to the girls.
The girls were shocked, and when they did not react to Debesa’s advances, he took them to their destination. The girls reported the incident to an adult who called the police.
Debesa denied the allegations.
Police said that the cellphone was secured in a dash mounted holder when the suspect accessed a video and then intentionally pressed play.
Debesa was banned from driving for Uber.
The company does not allow teenagers to use the app, but in this case, a parent ordered the car to pick up the girls from the Amalie Arena shortly after 11:00 p.m.

Uber driver arrested after missing passenger was found in his bed
Police were called by a drunk woman after an Uber driver drove off with her friend who was passed out in the backseat of his vehicle.
The woman of Orange County, Florida, told police that she and her friend were at a bar and called an Uber to take them home.
The frantic woman told police that when the two got to their location at about 10:00 p.m., she got out of the Uber but before she could help her friend who was passed out in the backseat, the driver drove off.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office along with University of Central Florida Police Department and the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office worked together to locate the woman.
They tracked her cellphone and went to the home where the device was. There they met the Uber driver, Jose David Rodriguez, who told police that there was a woman whom he did not know in his bed.
Officers found the missing woman lying in his bed.
According to police, surveillance videos from the incident show the woman trying to walk away from his home, but Rodriguez, who was shirtless, grabbed her by the wrist and took her back to his home.
The woman told police that she doesn’t believe she was raped by Rodriguez but she believes that something happened as she was not wearing the same pants as she had while out at the bar.
Rodriguez was booked into the Orange County Jail on a false imprisonment charge.

Georgia man breaks into GameStop with clear plastic over face as disguise
Police in Georgia have released a video of a burglar who used a plastic water bottle wrapping as a disguise on his head.
Detectives asked the public for help in identifying the suspect.
Police wrote on Twitter: “did you ever give any thought to what your disguise was going to be when you decided the life of crime was your bag of water? Well, this guy did! And yes, he used a plastic bag from a package of bottled water. This puts new meaning to the term WaterHead.
“In all seriousness, this craftily disguised gent decided to burglarize GameStop here in St. Marys last night. Do you know who he is?
“You can help us catch him, once you stop laughing. Please give our detectives a call at our office. We’ll be sippin’ water while we wait.”
It did not take long for them to receive tips from people who recognized the suspect.
He was identified as 22-year-old Kerry Hammond Jr., who is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 275 pounds. Police said that he was last seen driving a White Ford Taurus.
Officers tracked down and arrested Hammond who was wanted in connection with a burglary of at the St. Marys, GameStop.
Hammond was charged with burglary and criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree.

Woman dressed as clown stabs teenage boy multiple times while having sex with him
A woman in the United Kingdom was jailed for stabbing a teenage boy while having sex with him.
Zoe Adams, 19, a mother of one child in Cumbria, met 17-year-old Kieran Bewick for sex.
The two had been in an on again off again relationship when Bewick told Adams that he was afraid of clowns. One day, while meeting for sex, Adams dressed as a clown.
She brought along duct tape and a knife and asked the teenager if she can tie him up to satisfy her fetish.
Bewicks refused to be tied up so the couple compromised and he agreed to have a pillow over his head instead, according to Carlisle Crown Court records.
Adams whispered to Bewick to trust her before stabbing him five times in the chest, arm, and thigh with a 10-inch knife.
He suffered injuries including a collapsed lung. Bewick was rushed to a hospital, where he was treated and later released when he recovered.
Police took the woman’s phone as part of the investigation. The court her that she had images stored on the device, which included a bloody woman with the caption “murder is like a bag of chips: you can not stop after just one.”
In a text message to Bewick, Adams wrote: “I do not think of men unless that man is bound and used as a human sacrifice, you should be grateful that you are not part of it,” the court was told.
Adams claimed that she could not remember the incident. However, Judge James Adkin did not accept her defense and said that her actions were “cruel and sadistic” and she deliberately caused harm to her victim.
Bewick told the court that he was left traumatized by the incident. He has a hard time sleeping and he is now more terrified of clowns than ever before.
The judge sentenced Adams to 11 and a half years in prison.

Naked man arrested for pleasuring himself while stuck in school fence
A bizarre incident unfolded near a school, where a man was found naked and stuck in a fence.
The man from Virginia is facing charges after he was found naked and stuck in a fence near the Stafford County elementary school.
30-year-old Justin James Rutley, 30, of Beaverdam, has been charged with indecent exposure, masturbating in public, and disorderly conduct for his crimes that accrued near the Anne E. Moncure Elementary School, according to police spokesperson Amanda Vicinanzo.
Police officers responded to the school at around 9:35 a.m. after staff members spotted the naked man who was pleasuring himself.
They found Rutley trapped in the fence and covered from head to toe by scratches from trees in the area.
Rutley appeared to be nervous and made incoherent claims consistent with the use of drugs, Vicinanzo said.
Several employees of the school saw Rutley near the fence and one reported having seen him masturbating.
Rutley was booked into the Rappahannock Regional Jail, where he is being held without bond.

Man’s body found trapped behind wall in women’s bathroom at mall
A maintenance worker called the police to a women’s bathroom at a mall after finding the body of a man behind a wall.
Police in Canada said that foul play was ruled out in the death of the man found inside the wall of the mall.
On Monday, at approximately 9:30 a.m., police were called to The Core Shopping Centre located in the 700 block of 3 Street S.W. for reports that a body had been found inside the wall of a 4th-floor bathroom.
At the time of the discovery, a maintenance worker was fixing a toilet that was not flushing.
When the repair worker removed a panel that allowed access to the wall behind the toilet, the body of a male in his 20s was discovered.
The Calgary Fire Department was called to help remove the body and an autopsy was conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Investigators have determined that the victim entered the women’s bathroom on Friday before his body was found.
The victim was alone when he entered the bathroom.
Once inside the bathroom, it is believed that he climbed on top of a pony wall, which was directly behind the toilets, and removed a vent cover, which was located on top of the wall.
The pony wall, which is used to hide utilities, is approximately 7 inches tall and is not connected to the ceiling.
Based on evidence at the scene, officers believe the victim then climbed inside the pony wall through the vent opening where he became stuck and later died.
The victim’s motivation for crawling inside the wall is unknown at this time.
At this time, the victim’s death is considered accidental, police said.

Judge rules police did not violate man’s rights by looking under bathroom stall and arresting him for pleasuring himself
A man who was arrested for pleasuring himself in public claimed that police violated his privacy by looking under a bathroom stall.
5-year-old Timothy John Wilson of Oregon went into the public bathroom at the Portland State University, where he was caught pleasuring himself.
According to police, officers were called to the university after Wilson was seen lying on the floor of the bathroom with his pants down.
Officers who arrived at the scene looked under the stall and found Wilson pleasuring himself.
He was arrested and charged with misdemeanor public indecency.
Multnomah County Circuit Judge Bronson James found Wilson guilty of the crime and he was sentenced to 45 days in jail.
Wilson appealed the ruling.
The Appeals Court upheld Wilson’s conviction for public indecency. It rejected Wilson’s argument that police violated his constitutional right to privacy by conducting an unlawful search.
The judge ruled that it was not uncommon for people to look under a stall to see if a bathroom was occupied.

Airport security officer kills his colleague so he could date the victim’s fiance
An airport security officer was arrested for killing a man because he wanted to be with his fiance.
31-year-old Kevin Prasad of California desperately wanted to be with Thandel Seinn but she was engaged to Mark Mangaccat, 31.
Mangaccat and Mangaccat have a daughter together.
Prasad, Seinn, and Mangaccat were coworkers at the San Francisco Airport.
Prasad who was a Covenant Aviation Security was upset when he learned that the woman he loved was moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was getting ready to marry Mangaccat.
The suspect asked the woman not to move and he indicated that he wanted to be with her. She thought that it was a joke,
One day, when the couple left work, Prasad and his friend Donovan Rivera followed them. When the couple got out of their car at their home, Prasad fatally shot Mangaccat.
Seinn is devastated over the loss of her fiance who is the father of her 3-year-old daughter. She is also shocked that the man she called a friend was the one who carried out the cold-blooded murder.
Prasad and Rivera were tracked down and arrested after the fatal shooting.

Daughter of reverend fakes her own kidnapping to extort her parents so she could open a business with her boyfriend
A woman was arrested for extorting her parents by faking her own kidnapping so she can open a business.
Reverend Fred Muhwezi of Uganda called police after receiving a call for ransom.
He was notified that his 19-year-old daughter, Peace Ansimiire, was kidnapped and will only be released if he handed over a large amount of money.
Police placed a small tracking device among the cash and they were able to track down the suspect.
Police soon discovered that the bishop’s daughter asked her boyfriend, 22-year-old Julius Atwebembire, to set up the fake kidnapping so that they could extort money from her parents.
The couple admitted that they wanted to move to Kenya and open a crafts store. They wanted to use the proceeds from the store to pay for their wedding.
During their investigation, police discovered that Atwebembire was also running a fraudulent Facebook page named Hillmark Consultants, which claimed to help secure jobs for unemployed people in Canada.
The couple was arrested.

Girl expelled from school after teacher mistook green leaf for marijuana
A family is furious that a girl was expelled over a leaf she wanted to use for an arts and crafts project.
Edwina Bledsoe of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, said that she and her daughter, Marissa Sanchez, who is is a 7th grader, are nature enthusiasts.
Sanchez took a leaf from a Japanese Maple tree and placed it into her backpack to preserve it and to make an arts and crafts project.
While she was in school, the teenager showed the leaf to her classmates who joked about it being marijuana.
Her teacher took the matter very seriously and called the police.
Officers took the leaf for testing and Sanchez was suspended until the conclusion of the criminal investigation.
The police said that after testing the leaf, it was determined that it was not drug-related.
The girl’s family now wants the school to apologize for accusing her of a crime and punishing her while she was innocent.
“It makes me very upset. She was guilty of something so innocent. What’s wrong with arts and crafts?” Bledsoe said.
The school sent the family a letter to inform them of the findings, but so far, they did not apologize for humiliating Sanchez in front of her classmates or for suspending her over the false accusations.
